KéKé Cribbs
Karen Kelley Cribbs’ early success with an exhibition of her drawings based on the geometric, narrative style of the Mimbres Indians led to a critical commission to translate the style to glass cabinet doors. It was a pivotal moment that introduced her to glass and the sandblasting technique that would become synonymous with her name.
