Fall 2001
Shawn Athari Studio
The contemporary style of Shawn Athari is reinforced by meticulous historical research, exemplary hot glass components, and a God-given eye for the subtleties of color, form, and texture. Shawn has created many private commissions and loves it when a client furnishes her with a fabric swatch from which to draw inspiration for colors, which she creates by combining various shades of colored glass and melting them together in a ceramic crucible.
