J. Ring Glass Studio has emerged as one of the highly respected originators of the newly evolving concept of teaching studios. Joseph Ring and Susan Trash have found that providing projects that students can realistically finish during a class session gives them a basic overview for making similar projects and using those techniques. Conducting demonstration classes also keeps interest high.
