KOG Hot Glass Studio
The 1998 brainstorm of Donald Elliott, chairman of Kokomo Opalescent Glass, that sought to diversify the company as a hedge against industry wobbles gave birth to an on-site hot glass studio. Supplied by the scrap glass cut from the ends of sheet glass, KOG Hot Glass Studio has become more profitable each year in spite of the economic turmoil that has roiled through the American glass industry and the overall economy.
