All Lit Up—Glassworks Project Fires Art and Urban Expansion
An architectural glass designer, an architect, and a real estate appraiser looked at the rising national popularity of art glass and recast the art marketing notion of studios that are open to the public. Hot glass is the public draw for Glassworks, as this collaboration is known, but the partners’ blend of art with preservation, tourism, and local development dreams drew the city of Louisville, Kentucky, into this artful mix.
