Stephen Powell Studio
The arresting and original work of Stephen Powell, who is the driving force behind the now-famous hot glass studio at Centre College in Danville, Kentucky, has made him a star for the current hot market in unique glass art. The creation of his color-charged, long-necked bottles, which are nearly as tall as a person, requires the help of three assistants in what has been called a pyrotechnic ballet.
