Sales for the Independent Artist—Greeting Your Customers
There are plenty of techniques available to artists who are involved in the sale of their artwork. One of the most important skills to learn is being able to understand “consumer speak,” the ways in which your clients let you know it’s all right to approach them. When seeking to open a sales opportunity, it is usually best to wait patiently for customers to initiate conversation after presenting them with a brief but pleasant greeting.
