Statistics from the Small Business Institute indicate that one of the top two reasons businesses fail in their first year is lack of promotion. To promote your business is to stir up interest in your community for where you are located and what you do. Think of promotion not as hype but rather as sharing your unbounded enthusiasm for your business with others.
