Fall 2004

The Fish Stinks From the Head Down
Good leadership and management are the most important functions of any business. The object of your art glass business is to make money, but when you make bad decisions in any of the areas of management, marketing, finance, or operations, it will cost you money. Your mindfulness of your business needs to be as adept as the fisherman looking for the biggest catch, and if you don’t “cast your net” in the right place, you may miss an opportunity, or worse, be eaten by your competition.
